Today, we visit the Tribal Museum, which immerses us in the local tribes' culture with vibrantly sized exhibits, artwork, rituals, daily routines, and customs. Later, we pause for pictures at Upper Lake.
Today, we travel to Sanchi, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the location of the Sanchi Stupa, a well-known Buddhist structure. We explore the stupas, monasteries, temples, and pillars upon arrival, many of which are covered with elaborate carvings and sculptures.
We have time to go shopping in the evening.
Today, we travel to Jabalpur, one of Madhya Pradesh's most renowned cities, a significant hub for the manufacture of weapons and ammunition, and a significant military installation in India.
Today, we take a breathtaking boat journey along the Narmada River to Bhedaghat, where we can see a stunning structure made of the famed marble rocks. Then we proceed to stroll around Bhedaghat, a Marble village. Through a ropeway trip, we can also take in an aerial view of the marble-like Duandhar Falls. We also stop for a photo at a vantage point to take in these magnificent falls.
We travel to Gwarighat in the evening to experience the magnificent Narmada Aarti there, where spirituality rules with a lovely touch of tranquillity.
We travel to Khajuraho today. We have some time after we arrive to look around.
Today, we take advantage of the Khajuraho temple visit. We go to the Chitragupta, Jain, and Kandariya Mahadeo temples. We enjoy Khajuraho's breathtaking sound and light extravaganza in the evening.
Today, we travel to Gwalior, which is home to the magnificent hilltop fort known as the "jewel of Indian strongholds." On the route, we stop at Orchha Fort, a mediaeval fort located at Orchha on the yearly island of the Betwa River. We then go to Jhansi Fort, a historical site from the 17th century that served as a witness to the bloody conflict that Rani Laxmi Bai, popularly known as Jhansi Ki Rani, led.
We are currently touring the city of Gwalior. We go to the Sun Temple, the ornate Jai Vilas Palace, and the enormous sandstone fort known as the Gwalior Fort, which is a revered landmark of the city. We have time to go shopping in the evening.
