Itinerary

Bagdogra – Gangtok (2 Nights)

The tour participants will gather at the Bagdogra Airport at the time of the planned flight's departure. When they arrive, they will be greeted by the Veena World Tour Manager and driven to Gangtok, a city surrounded by stunning natural scenery. We have a little Meet & Greet in the evening.

Gangtok – Lachung (2 Nights)

Today, we travel to Lachung, one of the most beautiful villages in the Himalayas. On the way, we stop at Lachung Monastery and Bhim Nala Waterfalls, two of Sikkim's tallest waterfalls (subject to operation).

Lachung

Today, we travel to Zero Point, which is not far from the border between India and China, and Yumthang Valley, a haven for nature enthusiasts with an amazing variety of flora and animals and breathtaking natural beauty.

Zero Point is governed by the BSF, hence permission is required for visits there.

Lachung – Gangtok

Today, we explore the city of Gangtok. We go to Ranka Monastery, the Banjhakri Waterfall (depending on operation), the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, the Dordul Chorten Stupa, and we take a Ropeway Ride. Later, to see breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges, we stop by the Flower Exhibition Show, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, and Tashi View Point.

Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake – Gangtok

We are now at Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a sacred site dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a soldier in the Indian army, a folk hero, and a saint. Later, we travel to Tsomgo Lake, a picturesque lake at a high altitude that the Sikkimese regard as sacred. We have some free time in the evening to independently explore Gangtok's nightlife and casinos.

As per government rules, only citizens of the United States and NRIs are permitted to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir.

Gangtok – Tista River Rafting – Darjeeling (2 Nights)

Today, we travel to the prestigious hill station and attraction of Darjeeling. While travelling, we stop at the Tista River for an exhilarating white water rafting adventure. When we get to Darjeeling, we go to the Mahakal Temple.

Darjeeling

We go to Tiger Hill this morning early in the morning to see the mesmerising sunrise over the Kanchenjunga Ranges. Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), the Zoological Park, and Tenzing Rock will all be visited after that. We next go to the Tea Estates, where we can take pictures in the tea garden and sample the regional Darjeeling tea. We enjoy some free time in the evening to go shopping.
